Psalm 88- LORD I NEED YOU NOW!!!

The Psalmist is crying out for help. He needs the Lord more than ever. He feels like the Lord has abandoned him. He says Lord you have taken away all of my friends and loved ones and left me by myself. He realizes he is helpless without Him and is longing for Him. He says I’m begging You for help ! The psalmist feels like everything has been taken from him and is left alone in a dark scary place.

BUT GOD ! When we are in this dark place we have to realizes that GOD will NEVER leave us. He will never fail us. This temporary situation is just a tiny hill in our walk! While we are crying and thinking God has left us, God is right by our side just holding us through our situation. Literally carrying us through our ”difficult” situation. I quoted difficult because NOTHING is difficult for the Lord.

Look in the sky and count the stars, look at how He still has breath in your body, look at how He is the ruler of everything. The KING of kings. The LORD of lords. The One who created this earth. The GREAT I AM. The Prince of peace. My Deliver. My Savior. My Redeemer. My Way-maker.

OH JESUS I LOVE YOU!
