Feeling alone, distant from GOD. Trials and tribulations causing you to feel like nobody cares about you. Can't find anyone to pray with, no one has a Word for you. Well you are not alone the writer felt the same way. BUT GOD!!!!!! GOD knows you and knows how much you can bear. I am reminded of when King Hezekiah was being taunted and ridiculed by the king of Assyria. The king of Assyria was not afraid to spew wickedness out of his mouth towards GOD. He thought that GOD will never notice. But look at what GOD told Hezekiah. "Do not be afraid of what you have heard-those words with which the underlings of-the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Listen! when he hears a certain report, I will make him want to return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword." In 2 Kings 9, GOD said this to the king of Assyria, "Because you rage against me and because your insolence has reached my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth, and I will make you return by the way you came."
See the enemy doesn't phase GOD. The Lord is like "enemy you are small potatoes. keep talking". GOD will make your enemies behave and put them under your feet. He wants you to continue to seek His face, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path. Leave the enemies wrongdoings to the Lord. GOD will vindicate you, all the while you are praising His Name and giving Him the glory. In Jesus Name Amen.
Know that your GODs thoughts of you are not of evil but of peace to give you an expected end.
GOD thinks about you and has plans for your life and they are good!!!!!!
*You can read about King Hezekiah's victory in 2 Kings Chapter 18 and 19.
Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises. He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord. In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by[b] him; he sneers at all his enemies. He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.” He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.” His mouth is full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue. He lies in wait near the villages; from ambush he murders the innocent. His eyes watch in secret for his victims; like a lion in cover he lies in wait. He lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net. His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength. He says to himself, “God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees.” Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, “He won’t call me to account”? But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out. The Lord is King for ever and ever; the nations will perish from his land. You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.
