Psalms 106 - Stand Up and Intervene!
In this Psalm the Psalmist praises the Lord and depicts how good GOD is and His mercy endures forever. He speaks of the Lord's goodness towards His people yet they rebelled. The Psalmist stated, "that we have sinned with our fathers and we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly". Nevertheless, GOD saved them for His name's sake that He might make His mighty power to be known. GOD saved them from the hand of the enemy. They believed Him and sang His praises but quickly forgot GODs love and works. They did not want to wait on the Lord but thought the grass was greener on the other side. They were impatient and did not wait for GODs instruction so they became disobedient and worshiped idols. They forgot the One, True and living GOD. The very One that brought them out of Egypt. They began to murmur and complain. A plague broke out amongst them. When do we say: Enough Is Enough.
Even in the day called today when do we say, Enough, I will continue to follow Jesus and fulfill GODs purpose for my life.
One person stood up for what was right, Phinehas. Phinehas stood up and intervened, he broke up the fallow ground and begin to tell them like it T.I.Is. He began to speak and the plague was stopped. He was counted righteous for that very act. Will you intervene? Even though we go through, sometimes we get off the beat and path but it doesn't mean that we should stop praising our GOD. But we shall stand having done all to stand, stand. Praise belongs to GOD. It should start with praise and end with praise no matter what is in between. Even though the people rebelled against GOD, He was still merciful and heard their cry and saved them. He Is A Great GOD.
Se'lah Moment
GODs anger is but for a moment. He loves you. He is a forgiving and merciful GOD.
Meditation
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galations 5:1 KJV

Then our ancestors joined in the worship of Baal at Peor; they even ate sacrifices offered to the dead! 29 They angered the LORD with all these things, so a plague broke out among them. 30 But Phinehas had the courage to intervene, and the plague was stopped. Psalms 106:28-30
