Psalms 107 - When I Look Back Over My Life....

Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

The Psalmist makes this plea four times. I think he is trying to make a point. Look around and see how blessed you are. How good GOD is and praise His holy name. I know we have went through some things but look at GODs mighty power and look at the sustainability that He has placed in you. You are a force to be reckon with. That is how the Lord set you up. He gave you great promises. Oh how the enemy cringes when he sees you because He knows that you are in the Lord's family. And No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you thou shall condemn. What a great inheritance. Now that we have been set up in a great family Let us praise His Name for He is good. It is our responsibility to Praise the Lord, give the Lord what is just due Him. Let The Redeemed of the Lord say so.

Se'lah Moment

When I look back over my life and what should have killed me didn't. That was GODs goodness. What should have caused me to receive nothing, I gained everything. That was GODs goodness. Justice demanded that I should have been guilty but GOD said Not Guilty. That was GODs goodness.

In the times of trouble He was a very present help. That was GODs goodness.

I should have been exposed but GOD covered me. That was GODs goodness.

When sickness was pronounced over my life, GOD healed me. That was GODs goodness.

So see look around and recall to your mind it was GODs mercy that kept you. He kept you for such a time as this, Praise His Name!!!!! He counted you blessed.

Meditation

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:21-23

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; 3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. 8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. And His mercy endures forever. You can always count on the Lord. He is so kind, merciful and forgiving toward us. You can always count on Him to be that listening ear. He not only listens but He will
