Psalms 108 - Harp and Lyre
Have a Word in your heart and a praise on your lips. We must praise GOD with everything we have. The Psalmist expresses his deep desire to praise GOD. He says "I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre!" Whatever gift GOD has blessed you with that is your "harp and lyre" give Him the glory. We are not to be ashamed of GOD for it is GOD that made us not ourselves. So we must give the Creator what is just due Him. Praise Him in the good and Praise Him in the bad. Because we know that all things work together for the good of them that are the called according to GODs purpose. And with GOD on our side we will gain the victory!!! Trust in GOD and Him only and know that His thoughts of you are not of evil but are of peace to give you an expected end. He is more than the whole world against you. You have the majority on your side.
Se'lah Moment
Have your song came on and you begin to praise the Lord as if you wrote the lyrics because it was in your heart. And what you were going through matched what you were singing so much so you broke out in praise and worship. Tears streaming down your face. Well, GOD has not forgotten. He knows your name and has called you friend.
Meditation
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Psalms 108:4

My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. 3 I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth. 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter. 9 Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.” 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
