Psalms 18

Persistence pays off!!!! In this Psalm you will see that the Lord has delivered David from the hand of his enemies. David says "I love You, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my GOD is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. David magnifies the Lord and then he begins to describe all that he went through David says "the cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me, the cords of the grave coiled around me; the snare of death confronted me." Wow, have you been there? To feel like nothing is going your way to the point of death confronting you. BUT GOD!!!!!!!

David rejoices and says, “In my distress I called to the Lord. From His temple He heard my voice, my cry came before Him, into His ears. The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because He was angry."

Selah Moment

Don't make my GOD have to get up from His throne because the enemy is bothering me. The next time you feel an earthquake or the earth shake think about this could it be that GOD is getting up from His throne because your cry has reached His ears. Whoa, what a revelation!!!!!!!!

With GODs help I can advance against a troop; with my GOD I can scale a wall.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. Psalms 18 NIV
