Psalms 3
This was an awesome cry!!!! Cries can be awesome when you are crying out to the Lord. Because you get to see His magnificent hand upon your life. I feel David in this lament and praise. Have you ever felt like you are alone in the fight. Seems like everyone is against you, paranoia setting in. Well take it from David who triumphed over all of his enemies. Even when his enemy was his own son. Sometimes it hurts more when the one that betrayed you, or talked about you is your own family. This is why the Word says when your mother and father forsake you the Lord will receive you. (Psalms 27:10) My GOD is truly a deliverer. David stated that people were talking about him and they said GOD will not deliver him. Have you ever done something so bad or maybe it wasn't even your fault but you were in the thick of things and you couldn't see the light. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. Well, David was right there but he recalled who he was and Whose he was and he said: "But you, Lord are a shield around me, my glory, and The Lifter of my head. I call out to the Lord and He answers me from His holy mountain."
Sometimes it takes us to give it over to the Lord so that we can see the light. I pray that you will draw nigh unto GOD and He will open your eyes.
GOD hears you, He will answer and deliver you. GOD is with you!!!!! Don't forget it. Just like David, GOD delivered him (If you want to read the story: 2 Samuel 15-19). In Jesus Name Amen.

Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, "GOD will not deliver him." But You, Lord are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord and He answers me from His holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my GOD! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May Your blessing be on Your people. Psalms 3 NIV
