"I will be glad and rejoice in Your love, for You saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place."
In this Psalm, David is going through and describes it as terror, have you ever been there? I have, sometimes I want to just crawl up and never come out until it is over. Where is that invisible button? David heard rumors about him, people setting traps for him and he could feel his strength failing because of his affliction and his bones growing weak because of his enemies. David said, BUT I trust in You, Lord; I say, You are my GOD. Deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let Your Face Shine On Your Servant. Save me in Your unfailing love."
David asks GOD not to let him be put to shame. In other words, Lord, cover me.
Do you understand that when GOD makes His face to shine on you everything will be alright. He will make sure that every thing that was sent to damage you will go right back from where it came. Every crooked situation will be made straight, every rumor will be put to shame, every lie will be brought to light, every whisper will be found out and sent back to where it came from. Oh my GOD doesn't play about His children. Thank You Jesus!!!!!
GOD will enlarge your territory and place you in a large room and keep you from the enemy. Increase and Overflow!!
...but have set my feet in a spacious place.
You Are My GOD.
But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” 15 My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. 16 Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Psalms 31:14-16 NIV
