Psalms 43 - Hold On!

This Psalm is a continuation of the previous Psalm. The writer is expressing his sorrows. He asked the Lord, “Vindicate me and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. The writer encouraged himself in the Lord twice in the previous Psalm and again in this one by asking why was his soul warring within him. And then he encourages himself by saying unto his soul. Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

The writer is feeling all alone and distant from GOD. He asks the Lord, “Send me Your lights and Your faithful care. Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your Holy Mountain to the place where You dwell.”

The writer is encouraging his heart while feeling distant yet puts His trust and hope in the Lord.

Sometimes it may seem like GOD has forgotten you and we you may feel like it is to much to bear but hold on GOD is working it out for you. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Keep the faith and don’t give up. GODs got you covered.
