Psalms 60 - More Than Conquerors

Sometimes we may go through life secure in the Lord until you have something that surprises you and you wonder where did that come from? And you may say where did that come from because normally GOD covers me, I have a hedge around me. Is that GOD getting my attention.

I have been there and I am reminded of it when I read this Psalm. David is saying GOD you have rejected us, O GOD and broken our defenses. And David pleads with GOD, "Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power." With GODs help we will do mighty things, for He will trample down our foes. He understands that man cannot help at this stage in the game, He says for all human help is useless. We need the All Sufficient One El Shaddai.

David was confident that through GOD, he will go on to do mighty things and his enemies will be under his feet. We have to have that determination that no matter what we are more than conquerors and we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. Quickly realize that you must intensify in my prayer life, intensify in my study life and seek GODs face He will show you what He is trying to teach you and/or reveal to you. He is an Amazing GOD.

GOD has spoken from His sanctuary.

With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Psalms 60 NIV

You have rejected us, God, and burst upon us; you have been angry—now restore us! 2 You have shaken the land and torn it open; mend its fractures, for it is quaking. 3 You have shown your people desperate times; you have given us wine that makes us stagger. 4 But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow. 5 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. 6 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth. 7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter. 8 Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.” 9 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10 Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? 11 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. 12 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Psalms 60 NIV

And His mercy endures forever. You can always count on the Lord. He is so kind, merciful and forgiving toward us. You can always count on Him to be that listening ear. He not only listens but He will
